Having Yorkshire roots she moved from Lincolnshire to West Yorkshire in her teens.
Nichola always wanted to perform and was in every high school production from the age
of 11 years. Nichola even played a boy in the production Nicholas Nickleby "Smike" and
she was also the maid.
Although Nichola had huge dreams of working on TV and Acting, she did not get the chance
to study at college or have any knowledgment or encouragement to follow her dreams.
Nichola was unsure of her future in Acting so went in to factory work after leaving
high school.
In her early 20's Nichola decided to study I.T skills and over 3 years at college she mastered
the basics and worked towards her Intermediate and Advanced diploma's and received
many distinctions.
Having worked in several 9 - 5 jobs, Nichola still had the burning desire to work on TV so
in 2013 she applied to join her first Acting School and started in Jan 2014 at NFD -
Northern Film And Drama, where she completed her Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced
Acting training and also worked on some 1 hour long feature films where she played a varity
of characters in "Jailhouse Dog" and "Sisterhood Of The Red Garter".
Nichola has also worked with and assisted Purple Carrot Media with an online student
advertisment, "Your Student Box" which was filmed at Jamie Oliver's Ministry Of Food.
To further and enhance her career Nichola later joined a new Acting School in June 2015,
at Act4tv where she currently attends weekly lessons. The weekly lessons involve script reading and camera work.
Some recent work for Nichola has been on Emmerdale and Coronation Street for ITV. Also Nichola has been infolved in the filming of The Five, a new drama for Sky 1.
Commercials, soaps and dramas have always inspired her and some of her insperational
